Often known as ‘Grandfather rights’ those who passed their driving test before 1st January 1997 already have full entitlement to tow trailers and so do not need to take a test to be able to tow large trailers.
Because there are no tests is involved, this removes the need for the level of reversing to be high – simply to a level which you are more confident when towing.
The course can be tailored to your needs but can cover reversing, on road driving, uncoupling & re-coupling procedure and also safety advice when towing.
The course is held at his training ground in Farnborough and normally takes around two hours to complete. It can be done either on a one-to-one basis or as a two-to-one.
